Terra Exotica ultra-flat heating mats
The Terra Exotica heating mat - Standard is an excellent basic heater for most terrarium animals.
The mat produces a constant emission of long-wave infrared radiation. This wavelength is invisible to the human eye and is similar to the warmth of natural sunlight. Only objects are heated, while the ambient temperature remains significantly lower. Reptiles absorb this heat in a similar way to sunbathing in nature.
Due to the relatively low proportion of direct heat emitted by the heating mat, reptiles cannot burn themselves if the heating mat is used correctly. Please note, these mats are NOT splash-proof!
