Lucky Reptile Bright Sun UV Jungle
Bright Sun UV Jungle was specially developed for tropical species. It has a slightly lower UV output than the Bright Sun UV Desert to take account of the conditions in the natural habitat and the animals' way of life. The leaves and branches in the rainforest filter some of the UV light so that the animals do not feel the full intensity of the sun. It should also be noted that tree-dwelling animals in the terrarium often have the opportunity to get very close to the lamps. As UV radiation is generally potentially dangerous and the UV intensity at a distance of 10 cm is 5 times higher than at a distance of 30 cm, the UV component was deliberately reduced.
The spectrum has been adapted to the natural conditions in forest regions. The colour temperature is 4000K and is therefore significantly warmer than the daylight of the Bright Sun UV Desert. Tests have shown that tropical lizards such as water dragons prefer the warmer light of the Bright Sun UV Jungle to the daylight of the Bright Sun UV Desert, regardless of the UV component.
In addition, the warmer light brings out the green colours of plants better, creating a real forest atmosphere in the terrarium
