OSMOSIS SYSTEM HOBBY (100GPD)

The classic entry-level osmosis system for a rather low water consumption. The maximum daily output of the 100GPD membrane is 380 liters under optimal conditions. Mostly, however, can be assumed to be somewhat less.

Due to the compact design and the supplied wall mount, this osmosis system can be easily stored. The connection is simple and can be done without expertise.

Why an osmosis system for aquaristics?
Many ornamental fish that are offered in the aquaristic have in your natural environment soft / slightly acidic water. Since we here in Switzerland, however, mostly hard water from the tap network, we can not offer ideal conditions for the fish. As a result, the aquarium inhabitants do not feel comfortable and therefore do not reach their actual life expectancy.
This problem can be avoided by using an osmosis system. Because the osmosis plant filters all particles and harmful substances to 99.9% from the tap water. What remains is soft, absolutely pure water. This can now be salted with mineral salts to the correct values. Or it can be mixed with tap water until the desired value is reached.

How does this osmosis system work?
First your tap water is freed by a sediment filter from coarse particles such as sand, rust and dirt. Then, suspended solids and organic impurities are reduced or removed by the activated carbon filter. Subsequently, the water is cleaned by the membrane from all pollutants, odors and tastes almost 100%. As a result, you get a water in a previously unknown purity.
