The new Herp-Nursery II is still equipped with the proven Peltier technology, which allows the device to maintain the set temperature not only by heating, but also by cooling - ideal for hot summers, but also for wintering reptiles. It automatically switches between heating and cooling, depending on what is needed to maintain the desired temperature. In addition, the Herp Nursery has an overheating protection. And all this with an average power consumption of just 10W/h. 

The Herp Nursery II also has a viewing window and a switchable interior light, which makes it easier for you to watch the eggs. 

The temperature range depends on the ambient temperature and is approximately 5°C-60°C. The temperature can be adjusted in 1°C increments via the digital thermostat. Note that there is a temperature gradient of approx. 4°C between the upper and lower areas inside. This makes it easy to incubate species with different temperature requirements in the unit, or to breed to particular sexes. Due to the temperature gradient, the temperature display is only to be understood as a guide value. A check with a thermometer is therefore advisable.
