Unlike the Bright Sun Flood Desert, the Lucky Reptile Bright Sun Jungle Flood has a slightly lower UV and light output locally, also less heat is emitted. The wide reflector of the Bright Sun FLOOD Jungle provides a wide area illumination of the terrarium. In a beam angle of 70 ° light, heat and UV radiation are optimally dispersed.
The Jungle Flood is ideal as terrarium lighting for animals that originate from forest areas and are not so often exposed to direct sunlight. These include almost all species of chameleons, many species of iguanas and anolis, and diurnal geckos. Since these species have a lower UV requirement, the Bright Sun FLOOD Jungle is sufficient as the only lighting. For the illumination of a rainforest terrarium this UV lamp is also suitable.
For reptiles with a higher UV demand, such as green iguanas, a combination with the Bright Sun UV Jungle is recommended. This way local sun spots can be created in the terrarium, which the animals can visit independently. Also for larger terrariums the combination of at least two lamps is advisable.

This floodlight for terrariums provides the terrarium inhabitants with lighting that is extremely close to the lighting conditions in their natural habitat. In addition to heat and light, this lamp emits the necessary UV rays to the animals. The 150 watt strength even reaches 67,000 lux at a distance of 50 cm. Conventional mixed light sources can't even come close to keeping up. They manage just 10,000 lux.
This illustrates how important the right lighting in terrariums is for the well-being of reptiles. Under the right lighting conditions, the animals show a completely different color scheme. They are much more colorful and much more vividly colored.

This Bright Sun FLOOD Jungle UV lamp is available in 70 and 150 Watt. The lifetime of a Bright Sun FLOOD Jungle is about 6000 hours. Only after one year the UV performance decreases and the lamp should be changed. With conventional UV lamps, the UV power often decreases so much after 3 months that they must be replaced.
