LED technology is developing rapidly and the successors to the popular Lucky Reptile LED Sun are already in the starting blocks. The lamps have been optimised primarily for tough use in terrariums and now have a robust metal housing that is considerably better protected against moisture than the previous products. The highly efficient LEDs with daylight spectrum provide great lighting effects in the terrarium and only increase the temperature slightly, making them ideal for amphibians and invertebrates in particular. The LED Sun FLOOD with its 120° beam angle is ideal for illuminating large areas of the terrarium. The LED Sun Spot with a 45° beam angle is available for creating bright islands of light.
