In nature, many frog species spawn or place their tadpoles in so-called phytothelms.many biological substances are dissolved in these small bodies of water, which have a positive effect on the well-being of the tadpoles. We have imitated this water solution with the tadpole tea.
Depending on the water hardness, 3 - 5 tablespoons per litre should be added. As the acids and tannins contained in the water lower the pH value, care must be taken to ensure sufficient carbonate hardness as a buffer.
